This Monday through Wednesday, a small but well funded anti-choice
group will be bringing its shocking but simplistic harassment campaign

Oregon voted against parental notification laws and Americans elected
pro-choice leaders in astonishing numbers. So where will the pro-choice
movement be in 20 years? We should start by looking at the history of

Free Speech, Even for H*yas |
In recent weeks, there has been a firestorm of activity surrounding
H*yas for Choice. Following the removal of our demonstration in
accordance with Red Square policy, our pro-choice organization (NOT
recognized by Georgetown University) thought carefully about how to
proceed. Sure, we have the asterisk in our name and do not receive SAC
funding, but never before had we felt like such outsiders on our own
campus. Unfortunately, H*yas for Choice poses such a threat to the
Catholic tradition of our beloved university that we must be silenced.
Limited to Red Square, the "free speech zone," our side of this
emotionally charged and highly controversial issue is not being
adequately presented. We, as students have the right to information,
and that is exactly what H*yas for Choice strives to do.
