Why should we let Members of Congress and Federal officials decide our fate when it comes to our reproductive and sexual health? Affordable birth control, funding for STD screenings, pre-natal care, childcare in schools—these are just a few things that have all been impacted by our Congress and Federal Administration in recent years. We know victory is close—in recent years, we have pressured the FDA to approve Emergency Contraception over the counter, have worked to ensure abortion providers are safe at their offices, clinics, and homes, and have worked to get pro-choice judges into the Supreme the judiciary. We know that together, we have an impact on what happens nationally. Getting educated around these issues and fighting for our rights is how we can achieve a vision of reproductive justice.
