Building and demonstrating our collective power is a way youth and students can push decision-makers to respond to our demands.

The Voter Action Strategy Training (VAST) teaches you to run voter registration, voter education, and get-out-the-vote efforts that build electoral power to pressure decision-makers and win policy changes. VASTs are held by request for youth and student organizations, and last an afternoon.

The VAST focuses on developing youth and students to build their collective electoral power in order to affect decision-makers both locally and nationally. The VAST will provide you and your organizers with the skills necessary to carry out a strong voter action campaign and a forum from which to build your club’s membership. Your group will receive free Voter Action Kits at the training to supplement their curriculum, along with campaign guides and other materials from Choice USA.
