Choice USA and the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum are working together to show that through strategic intergenerational, multi-racial and multi-ethnic collaborations, groups can build a shared analysis, vision and strategy in base building for the broader movement.
Choice USA and NAPAWF have partnered in an effort to expand family planning and reproductive health education and service delivery to vulnerable populations in California by building a sustained base of young Asian Pacific Islander women to conduct advocacy work on women’s health issues in California.

Members of the California Young Women partnership
Our objectives are to: conduct participatory research training for a total of 30-50 Junior Researchers/Analysts from our membership base to conduct research on 6-9 campuses over 3 years; Organize campaigns that bring together researchers/analysts, and young women leaders on college campuses from various parts of California to create local or state policy changes and connect them to a larger national policy agenda for women’s health and reproductive rights; Document our work extensively and share the innovations learned in testing this organizing model; and brief our allied organizations and use lessons and successes in other parts of the country where our grassroots memberships reside.
